Our Eco Committee is made up of pupils from Year 2 - Year 6. The children meet each week and are passionate about the environment and working to towards a more sustainable future. Some of their roles and responsibilities involve;

• Carrying out an Environmental Review of the school environment, covering the following nine areas: Litter, Waste, Energy, Water, Transport, School Grounds, Healthy Living, Biodiversity and Global Citizenship

• Creating an action plan for Llandysilio School, based on the outcome of the Environmental Review

• Taking the lead in delivering the Eco-Schools Action Plan

• Monitoring and evaluating the action plan to ensure this is put into practice

• Ensuring that the wider school and community are aware of the Eco-Schools programme and have opportunities to be involved with projects.
